Default Change form POST value

    There is probably a simple solution to this:

I Have a form with a POST value "form1.asp", a text entry field and a submit button "Go". Now want to have an addition button (or link) "Search" to allow the user to redirect to another page and take with them anything they have typed into the text field (like post), but to "form2.asp". Having trouble explaining so, Basically a form with two submit buttons, that posts to different forms depending on which button you select.

Any help appreciated.

    In client-side script, you can secify:
document.yourform.action = ...

try using this.

    Do this:
<form action="">
<input type="submit" name="action" value="Submit1">
<input type="submit" name="action" value="Submit2">
</form>

In your ASP code do response.write Request("action").

See what happens.
