Default Temp tables, Performance hit??

    Hello..
I have been working hard on a stored procedure that will do this type of message threading (the messageboard). I am a little worried about performance. I am using two #temp tables for this process (stored procedure). One table is used to do the recursion and the other is used to hold the results of the function. The temp table that holds the results is what gets sent back to the user.

I am way open to suggestions on this one.

Thanks,
DRUG_DEALER

Can you give me a little more info on how you are trying to do this?
