Default remove an alert

I want to have a browser window come up and control it&#039s properties, so far, it seems that this can be done only when launching a new window. I can&#039t seem to find a way to specify the properties of the parent window. So... I have the parent window come up, and onLoad I call the newWindow() and then I have self.close(). The problem with this method is that an alert box pops up and says something close to: "The web page you are trying to view is trying to close. Is that ok?" Yes or No buttons. I don&#039t want it to do that, is there a better way to do this? Or is there a way to disable that alert?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you in advance.
Which of the window&#039s properties are you wanting to control?

    Default RE: Window Properties

In the window I launch I removed everything (toolbar, menubar, scrollbars, status, resizable all = 0)
