Hi, everyone.

I have written an ASP-scripted chat page that appends entries
to a text file (to avoid having to use a database for such a
simple task).

My question is: Is there any way that I can make the page show
who else is currently in the chat room at the same time?

(If a solution to this requires a database, that&#039s not a
problem, although I&#039d rather use Access if I have to.)

Thanks for any help,
Paul.

paul_merton@hotmail.com

    If you have a global.asa file, you could probably populate a variable in the session_onstart section

sub session_onstart
whosonline = whosonline & username
end sub

Hope this helps.

Jerry
