I am having a problem with memos in ADO.
I only want to display the memo, if it contains text
but when i do "if rst("fldmemo") <> "" then", if there is data in the memo, it passes the test, but removes the data from the fldmemo in the recordset. Do you know why this is occuring?

    the obvious way to go is not to referr to memory twice but do :
memo_val = rs("your_memo_name")
and the check this.
THis is good anywhere plus memo in access dies after you referr to it once
