Hi,

I am creating an e-commerce app where the user can, like most shopping basket apps, go to their basket and modify the contents (which updates the contents and refreshes the page). I would like them to be able to return to the page in the store where they came from. Obviously history.back() cannot be used as the current page (the updated basket) forms part of that history.

I also don&#039t want to use signed scripts to put the history data into a variable as this seems buggy on some browsers.

I could just put users back at the top of the product database, but this could get irritating/ Does anybody know of a good way to do this (short of storing urls in a database)?
