Default Why does IE5 see an ASP file as a download

I have 2 pc&#039s. One works where the browser sees the ASP file and executes it. The other pc does not. The pc that works uses win98 and ie5. The pc that doesn&#039t work uses win98 2nd ed and ie5. Both use the same version of personal web server. Am I missing a setting on the pc?

Are they each running a separate copy of personal web server? If the problem is that PC1 works when requesting an ASP page from PC1, and PC2 does NOT work when requesting an ASP page from PC2, then I&#039d guess that the problem is that the web server on PC2 is not executing the ASP page. It is there for looking at it as a standard, non-html object. It offers it to the browser and the browser does what it would do with any other unknown file type. I don&#039t know much about personal server but I&#039d guess you need to configure it to run ASP or turn on the ASP execution or something.
