    Default Inserting HTML Tags into a Database.

    Hi,<BR><BR>I have bought "SAMS teach ya self ASP" book, and I am having problems inserting HTML Tags into a database.<BR><BR>Sometimes I can insert the &#060; BR &#062; tags (don&#039t know if this board posts html tags or not.. so I added spaces) but anyway the error I get is:<BR><BR>Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error &#039 80040e21&#039 <BR><BR>Errors occurred <BR><BR>/q2ctf/postnews.asp, line 53 <BR><BR><BR>Now then, Line 53 is equal to: objRS("News") = Request.Form("News")<BR><BR>& my whole procedure is:<BR><BR>&#060;%<BR> Dim objRS<BR> Set objRS = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Recordset")<BR> objRS.Open "q2ctfNews", objConn, , adLockOptimistic, adCmdTable<BR> objRS.AddNew<BR> objRS("Title") = Request.Form("Title")<BR> objRS("PostDate") = Date<BR> objRS("Poster") = Request.QueryString("Poster")<BR> objRS("News") = Request.Form("News") &#060;!-- &#060;&#060; line 53!! --&#062;<BR> objRS.Update<BR> <BR> objRS.Close<BR> set objRS = Nothing<BR> objConn.Close<BR> set objConn = Nothing<BR><BR>%&#062;<BR><BR>(ps the comment is non existant in the code...)<BR><BR>I have narrowed it down to this line, and as I have said above, sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn&#039t.<BR><BR>I fully format the html tags, with the closing tags when necesscary (sp..)<BR><BR>Any help would be creatly appreciated.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance,<BR><BR>Skid.<BR><BR>

    *OR* better yet, anyone know how this messageboard works? - I mean like so I don&#039t have to type <BR> for new lines, and can just press ENTER.<BR><BR>Thanks :)
