    Hi ,<BR><BR>Normally we use Jobs to execute a Stored Procedure <BR>at fixed intervals of time .<BR>(Say at 12 AM each day )<BR><BR>Now instead of executing a Stored Procedure I would<BR>like to call an Active-X DLL and execute at <BR>a periodic interval .<BR><BR>Can you please tell me how to go about this .<BR><BR>Also can you please tell me where else <BR>can I post my SQL Server messages .<BR><BR>Desperatly waiting a response .<BR>As this is an urgent requirement of a project .<BR><BR>With Regards <BR>Mohit

    Off the top of my head the only way I can think of doing it is writing a small EXE that calls the DLL and use a SQL Server Scheduled Task or NT&#039s Task Scheduler to launch the EXE at a certain time. As far as I know neither one can call the DLL directly so that is why the EXE is needed.
