Default Passing a parameter via the URL

    Help,

I&#039m delving into ASP

I need to call an ASP program with a paramter
eg ../route.asp?product=table

Then have the ASP code redirect the user to table.htm

Would appreciate some clues on how to do both read in the parameter value and call the next URL.

Once I have that mastered I&#039ll be enhancing the program to derive additional details from an MS Access database.

Many thanks,
Judd Taylor
Well, I&#039m not sure on the specifics of your project, but why not send them to table.htm in the first place?

No matter.. that wasn&#039t your question.

NEXT PAGE
<%
Response.Redirect("request.quer ystring("product") & ".htm")
%>

Remember though, if &#039product&#039 doesn&#039t contain anything of value, you&#039ll receive a 404.
