Default Bad Request Message

    All,

In our application we are receiving:
Bad Request
Your browser sent a query this server could not understand.

This occurs after a submit button is pressed multiple times.
It usually occurs within 3-7 attempts (but never on the first few tries).

This asp page normally returns a results list from an Oracle
DB query (BTW- this is happening in other areas of the application).

This is happening with all versions of IE, but cannot be duplicated in Netscape.

The application Web Server is communicating with another Web Server through a firewall.
I am told by the Web Server Admin that no error messages are being generated.

Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
John B.

    Then don&#039t allow them to press submit more than once. Use this code:

countofsubmit = 0; //KEEP THIS GLOBAL
function submitOnce(){

if (countofsubmit == 0)
{
countofsubmit++;
document.form.submi t();
}
else
{
alert("Be patient. Form is already submitted!");
}
}
