    Dim objConn<BR>Set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")<BR>objConn .ConectionString = "DBRecord.dsn"<BR><BR><BR>I want to know about the 3rd line about the dsn i dont really understand, does that mean i can access databases in DSN i dont really know what it means

    The DBRecord.dsn is your DSN (Data Name Source) connection which you probably have defined in your ODBC DSN. What it basicly does is it connects your database using the connection string DBRecord.dsn (which should be defined in your ODBC panel). No matter where you put your database, as long as the path is correct in your ODBC, it will be able to connect to your database.<BR><BR>Once the connection string is all set us, all you need to do is open it, and that you do it with<BR><BR><BR>Hope this helps.<BR>Regards,<BR>Patty
