    How can I show the query execution time using ADO, like it happens at Google.

    You really can&#039t do it EXACTLY like they do. But you can come very close by using code like this:<BR><BR>(Open the connection)<BR>(build the querystring)<BR>StartTime = Timer<BR>(do the query)<BR>ElapsedTime = cdbl(Timer - StartTime)<BR>Response.write "Search time was " & ElapsedTime & " seconds."<BR><BR><BR>Note that this does not compensate for the midnight wraparound of the timer (you can check for this and add 86400 to the timer if necessary).<BR>

    how does Google do it. is there any means of accessing the timer u find in the statusbar of Sql server.
