Default quick question

I&#039m displaying the contents of an Access db to a page using
<%=Field1%>.

My question is that in some cases there is no data in a field and I would like to display the field only if it has data. It would really clean up the page from some blank spots if I could.

So my question is how do you write the statement if field1 has something in it then display it, if not don&#039t.

I tried If "field1 > "" then response.write <%=Field1%>
but it didn&#039t work.

What am I missing?

    Default quick answer

    <%
If not isnull(field1) then
......
end if
%>

field1 will ahve to have a value right. I assume you are assigning the recordset value to that variable
