    More robust, more scalable to large databases, able to handle more connections.

    Its not just fast. SQL Server can store more volumes of data than Access and also have features like "StoredProcedures" (like executables in database, they are already compiled) which can be fired from ASP. The stored procedures are nothing but SQL which have been compiled already and exist in the database.<BR>Also SQL server has better security than MSAccess.
