Default Nescape and vbs formatnumber

    Can anyone help me with the following?
Our application has to output the result of a simple calculation in a currency type format to 2 decimal places. I am using:
strCost = formatnumber(Request.Form(total)),2)
which works OK in IE 5 resulting in a x.xx type output.
However, in Netscape I get the error message
Microsoft VBScript runtime error &#039 800a000d&#039
Type mismatch: &#039formatnumber&#039
Can anyone help?

Cheers
