This is interesting and quite unexpected. I would never have come across this problem if a client in Italy hadn't reported a bug to me in the United States.

The banner ad management software he is using dynamically creates a web page that stores dates in his format (DD/MM/YYYY). This date is used to record impressions and click-throughs for his ads. The Access database, however, has a few date fields that use the MM/DD/YYYY format. So when the table is queried for a matching record by date, it never finds the right match.

Question 1: Can the date field in Access be changed to store dates in his DD/MM/YYYY format?
Question 2: Am I going to have to chop up his date into MM, DD, and YYYY pieces then reassemble it as DD/MM/YYYY?

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
