Default Recordset.AbsolutePage property doesn't work w

    G&#039day, I&#039ve found this problem posted several times over the last few months by various people, but never solved...

When I try and use the Recordset.AbsolutePage property with Access (through latest version of Microsoft DAC ) I get the error ...800A0CBCB3...The operation requested
by the application is not supported by the provider.

I&#039m thinking that there may be some kind of cunning option you can set on your recordset so that this works...any ideas?

Help much appreciated, as this is making me look like a bit of a spanner.

    If the driver/connection supports Recordset.Move, then you could just replace

<%
RS.AbsolutePage = pageNum
%>
    with
<%
RS.Move (pageNum-1) * pageSize
%>

(Assumes you do this right after the RS.Open or equivalent.)
