Is there a way to promote first row to second and second row to first, similarly promoting and demoting other rows in a table on a form.

May be this works for you:

use DESC and you will have from the last to the first rec.

SELECT * FROM tblCustomer order by CustomerLastName desc

Or, if you would like two by two :

This order:
2
1
4
3
6
5

You can try :

to read 2 rec. at one time from the recordset:

rec1
rec2

and then populate form:

rec2
rec1

Then do that again till the end of the recordset

ALERT: Be sure to calculate last reading if is 1 or 2 recs. left.

I would do that in this way !!!

Any other thoughts ?
