Default Hiding an IP address in an tag

    We have an .asp that displays (amongst other things) an image:

<img src="http://1.2.3.4/secret.jpg" width="100" height="100">

In the above example, the IP address (1.2.3.4) is real. How can I hide the IP address from a &#039view source&#039? Can <img src=> be directed to a script, dll or some other masking process that serves the JPEG?

Thanks,

Mark

markw@nete arth.com
It sounds like you&#039re trying to prevent folks from robbing your bandwidth. Check out this great article by Bart Silverstein on how to protect your images using ASP:

Protecting your Images
http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/110398-2.shtml
