    Default Javascript Where Textbox Name="field<%=x%

    I have a javascript for requring certain types of data to be entered into various fiels. Type the wrong thing, and it beeps and a message box pops up.<BR><BR>The problem is I have some text boxes where name="field&#060;%=x%&#062;"<BR><BR>So of course javascript looks for name="field" and doesn&#039t find name="field&#060;%=x%&#062;".<BR><BR>Any solution to this?

    Default checking dynamically named form fields?

    *HOW* do you tell the JS code *WHICH* fields to check for what types?<BR><BR>Show a *real* page (do a VIEW &#124 SOURCE and show the generated *not* show the ASP code).<BR><BR>
