Default setting oradatabase in global.asa

I&#039d like to set a session variable (Session("Oracle_Connection"))in the Session_OnStart subroutine of my global.asa to a string containing my oradatabase parameters. This way when I move from development to production, I only need to change the service name and password in one place rather than in every page that calls Oracle via oo4o.

When I do this however, I get the message:

Microsoft VBScript runtime error &#039 800a01a8&#039

Object required: &#039[string: "OraSession.DbOpenDat"]&#039

/HTML/TMP37l5p1z2sg.asp, line 41

It seems to be truncating the string.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Default Bad idea

I am not sure why you are getting you error but do not put it the strings in session variables!!!! Use application variables. Take a look at
