Default Is there a way to schedule a task in IIS?

    Hi

I was wondering if there is a way to run an asp file at certain time by it self. What I want this file to do is grab information from tables and store it in a txt file at night. This file does that but I have to run it everyday manually, is there a way to set a time or something so that it would run by itself?

Thanx for the help

ASIF

Default Yes... and no.....

It is not from IIS that you would schedule an ASP script to be run; rather it would be Windows NT. (Maybe NT *IS* good for something.... *wink*)

You would use WSH... yep, one of those buzz words that is seeping into our otherwise overly convoluted developer vocabulary.

Instead of explaining how to do it here (it is not very intuitive, and it&#039s not a "task" it will be a small "project"), just follow the URLs that are below... happy scripting!

READ:

THEN POKE AROUND HERE:
