Default How to assess dates with dates

    I am trying to effeciently write a routine that will see if particular database entries have "expired" or not.

Assessing the specified "expiration date" located on the DB versus the Server Date. So that if the expiration date is found to be a date previous to the current system date - it would either delete or make invisible that particular entry.

What would be an effecient method to compare dates?

much thanks,

George

If you&#039re using stored procedures as your backend, add a where clause like:

WHERE ExpiryDate > GetDate() /*for SQL Server*/

If you&#039re using Access, add the above to the end of the query.
