Should all objects (Connections, Recordsets, etc.) be closed before a Response.Redirect is used?

I am currently using an error handling method that checks the err.number at the end of the page as well. If I close the Connection object then I can no longer trap connection object errors without using an extranal structure (like an error array).

What is the best way to incorporate error handling for VBScript errors as well as ADODB.Connection errors on a page that uses Response.Redirects?

Thanks.

Pete
