    Default Create DSN file.

How can I create a DSN file when I am using SQL Server, and then open it in ASP page? Where can I write an ASP page? Microsoft Visual Interdev or IIS?

    Default RE: Create DSN file.

To create the DSN file you need to goto ODBC 32 on the Server in Control Panel. Create the file DSN specifying all the connection information. Then move that file to your HTML scripts directory.<BR><BR>Now your asp code will need to be:<BR>&#060;!--#include file="adovbs.inc"--&#062;<BR><BR>Set Conn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")<BR>Conn.Op en = "dsnfilename", "username", "password"<BR><BR>Then you can query your sql from here, which is a whole other conversation.
