Default Client Side vs Server Side RecordSets

I find alot of information on cursor types and how the affect performance. I am curious however how cursor location affects performance and what issues or problems one should consider in implementing either a client side of server side cursor.

According to Wrox&#039s ADO Programmer&#039s Reference, client-side cursors are up to 3 times slower than server-side cursors (pg. 219, 220).

You can see a report on lock types and cursors (not cursorLocation, though, sorry), at:
http://www.4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/062799-3.shtml
