    Hello, I have a QUICK question or 2 about Stored Procedures. <BR>I read the article found at 4guysfromrolla.com/webtech/062899-1.shtml.<BR>(1) Do I save the stored procedure script as an ASP page ? any special place ? <BR><BR>(2) Can someone refer me to a good tutorial on Stored Procedures please ? Online and Book. I need to source for understanding the syntax or writing stored procedures.<BR>Sincerely <BR>Stephen

    I dont think u can store the Stored Procedure as a Seperate script as an ASP .U can go to msdn site which gives more details abut the Stored Procedures.

    Stephen,<BR><BR>Stored procedures are created, stored, and run on the database server. They are pre-compiled and you call them from your ASP scripts.<BR><BR>If you&#039re using SQL Server 7, then "Programming SQL Server 7 Unleashed" is probably a good book that covers stored procedure programming in decent depth.<BR><BR>HTH,<BR>Jairo<BR>http://www.citywebarchitects.com
