Default Setting Access/ASP to activate a flag once expiry

    Hello,
I would love for someone to help me with this query. I am making a simple help desk application in ASP and Access, but it is primarily for the support engineers to keep track of calls and their status. I have for a while wanted to know how you can get Access (or ASP code) to set a flag of somekind which will activate a gif (say an arrow)to a support call that is more than 2 days old (after insertion). If someone can help me with this I would be very grateful. I look forward to learning the solution.
Thanks
k,

Thanks for your reply. I have some more questions...the CallID you mention - could that simply be the autonumber in Access when a new record is inserted, or does it have to be a separate column (and a particular type ie text, number etc...)?
Secondly, I have made the Help desk project in Visual InterDev, the first page (CallLog.asp) where the Support engineers can enter call details into a form. The form results are then inserted into a table called SupportDB. Then, in ViewLog.asp, the engineers can view all the logged calls that I have ordered by Priority, so all calls with &#039high&#039 priority are shown first.
They can also edit and delete the calls at this point.
In view of this, at which point should I insert the code for signalling when a logged call is overdue?
thanks,
k
