    Default Monitoring ASP

My asp is suddenly going down, after months without problems. The HTML pages remain up, but I need someway to notify me when the ASP goes down. Any suggestions?<BR>

    Default RE: Monitoring ASP

I have a remote monitoring script that I use. It simply queries an ASP page I have on the server, called &#039heartbeat.asp&#039. All that heartbeat.asp does is a response.write "OK". My script then checks the results of the query on that page to be sure that the string "OK" shows up. If it doesn&#039t, that means that the ASP engine has choked. It may be returning error 500 - Server Too Busy, or others. This method works well for me.
