    Default Conection without DSN

    Hi! i have trouble whit this:<BR>this is my global.asa<BR>&#060;SCRIPT LANGUAGE=VBScript RUNAT=Server&#062;<BR>Sub Application_OnStart<BR>Application("DB.Summit.Prov ider") = "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4"<BR>Application("DB.Summit. Path")= "c:SummitApresentacaoDataanco12.mdb"<BR> Application("DB.Extranet.Provider") = "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4"<BR> Application("DB.Extranet.Path") = "c:SummitApresentacaoDataanco22.mdb"<BR> Application("DB.Onde.Provider") = "Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4"<BR> Application("DB.Onde.Path") = "c:SummitApresentacaoDataSGINET.mdb"<BR>End Sub<BR>Sub Session_OnStart<BR>End Sub<BR>&#060;/SCRIPT&#062;<BR><BR>when i call the default page i receive this error message:<BR><BR>ADODB.Connection error &#039 800a0e7a&#039 <BR>Provider cannot be found. It may not be properly installed. <BR>/default.asp, line 4 <BR><BR>I don´t now how resolve this.. please someone can help me??<BR><BR>I´m using PWS in a W98 system.. This can be a problem:::??<BR><BR>Thanks<BR><BR><BR>

    I take from this you are using a DSN less conection. <BR>as this is the case you will need to add a line. <BR><BR>&#060;% <BR>&#039A DNS - less conection to a database.<BR>DBcon = "Driver={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};DBQ=C:WebshareWwwrootwebsitesfaqdb1.mdb"< BR>%&#062; <BR>The ASP is all on line, with the abolute path leading to your database <BR>then the normal conection<BR> <BR>Set objcon = server.createobject ("ADODB.connection")<BR> DBcon<BR><BR>if you put the connectionin an inclusive file it make things much easyier. <BR>I hopE this helps<BR>Big Al<BR>

    I´m using Microsoft JET nad i think this is my problem...<BR>Whit a W98 and PWS its possible to use Microsoft Jet normaly??
