You don't need NT to practice ASP @ home; there is a PWS (Personal Web Server) for Win 95/98.
If you still want to load NT and want to keep your current OS, here's an article on dual-booting:http://support.microsoft.com/support/kb/articles/Q243/8/96.ASP

I used it to set up my laptop to dual boot 98/NT.
I battled to get PWS to work and gave up. I got our IT people to set up my PC with a dual boot. They then loaded/installed MS2000 Server on my PC and now for my inhouse development of ASP I use MS2K server and it works like a dream.
I wrote a simple program that will show you time at server.
But it is not working.ie.
<%@ language=vbscript %>

 60;% dim str
str=time()
%>
Time at server is<%=str%>

I wrote this in Notepad and I run this using IE

What is the problem?Please letme know.

Thx

Is anything we should do after installing PWS ? ie creating virtual directory or setting any properties like that....
When I run this .asp it automatically goes in to Frontpage editor...Why like that?
