Default A Puzzling Problem with DSNless Connections....

    Hi Guys,

I&#039m experiencing a weird error when using DSNless connections and Stored Procedures........

When using the DRIVER={SQL Server} dsnless connection, the database works fine..... However, when using the SQL OLE connection (Provider=SQLOLEDB), I can&#039t execute stored procedures which have input and output parameters.... I just get an error:

ADODB.Recordset error &#039 800a0e78&#039
The operation requested by the application is not allowed if the object is closed

Just to repeat. the stored procedure code works perfectly using the SQL Server driver, and chokes when using the SQLOLEDB provider..

Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?!?

Regards,

Sean
