Default wanting to have 800a000d

    Hello Guys,

I am getting an error because EOF or BOF is missing. I actually want this error to occure, because there should not be a record. But the problem is that i want to make a "if" function which redirects the error and output a line like : there are no results for this directory or your query.

Is there a way to do this?
Thanks for the help

You are crazy!

You never want to get an error to occur. That means that you have not done your job as programmer. You should make every effort to avoid errors by determining where they will occur and testing object methods/properties as well as the values in your variables, to prevent errors from occurring.

If you are trying to redirect when a record does not exist, then you should have something like this:

<%
if rs.EOF and rs.BOF then
response.redirect "norecord.asp"
end if
%>
