Default Replacing ADOs with Standard HTML form buttons

    How can I replace ActiveX objects with HTML buttons and have the same functionality underneath (e.g. update, delete, etc.. from/to a database)

    You can still do VBSCRIPT/JScript Client side events.

Here is a VBScript one:

Sub cmd_Delete_OnClick

Dim sTextID

sTextID = Trim("" & forms.myform.textID.Text)

If sTextID = "" Then
Msgbox "Please enter a valid Record ID"
Else
Navigate "delrecord.asp?id=" &
End If

End Sub

    Oops I lost something in that post, here is the corrected one:

Sub cmd_Delete_OnClick

Dim sTextID

sTextID = Trim("" & forms.myform.textID.Text)

If sTextID = "" Then
Msgbox "Please enter a valid Record ID"
Else
Navigate "delrecord.asp?id=" & sTextID
End If

End Sub
