I have a text file on one of our servers which is inside our firewall and i want to put this text file on another server which is outside of the firewall so that the client can access this text file.
i typed in ur commands at the command line like
lcd "c:filepathhere ext1.txt"
put text1.txt
is this correct .but it says fiel not found.
please help.
Normally I would freak out and punch a hole in the wall before proceeding to terrorize you, with help from my minions, leaving you with a smoldering stinky "hey what's happening to my machine?" mess.

But I'm gonna be nice from now on. It's like a test of willpower.

when I said type "c:filepathhere" I meant type the path to the
file you want to send. If it was in c:download you would type "lcd c:download".

*Do not put the name of the file at the end, this command is switching the local DIRECTORY (lcd)*

hey common guys,i do understand that it is the file which i want to send and not C:filepath whic i have to type in.i was asking about whether to include the name of the file in the path or not and just to make it easy for you i mentioned the same path.dont be so boorish
