Hi All,<BR><BR>I am using stored proc to populate my recordset and than go thru the recordset to set the values for individual rows[ by using do while not rs.eof ]. Stored proc returns about 3000 rows. Stored proc by itself takes about 2 seconds but when I try to use it within an asp page and try to set the values for my rows whole things takes about 35 seconds. Is there any way I can improve the performance within an asp page. <BR><BR>Thanks in advance,<BR>Chris

It would help tremendously if you could post some code so we can analyze where the problem might be. The first thing that springs to mind is that you should be using .GETROWS.

I would suggest that you read some articles on the topic of performance. There are many good ones. A few on this site and some good ones on also.
