Default Server.Execute

When a page is "executed" from within another page via Server.Execute, it appears that the executed page does not have access to variables defined in the executing page. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it a bug or a design flaw? I was really hoping to use Server.Execute to achieve "conditional includes"....

For example, the following produces no output:

PageOne.asp:

<%
intN umber = 1
Server.Execute "PageTwo.asp"
%>

PageTwo.asp:
<%
If intNumber = 1 Then
Response.Write "intNumber = 1"
End If
%>

Default My vote : Design Flaw

I whole hearted ly believed that conditional includes and the like was the goal of S.Execute.

Sadly, it seems this isn&#039t so...
