Default Access 'password' field will not UPDATE

I am using a SQL string like this:<BR>"UPDATE Users SET password = &#039something&#039 WHERE userID = somenumber"<BR><BR>I get an error like:<BR>Microsoft JET Database Engine error &#039 80040e14&#039 <BR><BR>Syntax error in UPDATE statement. <BR><BR>Is there something special about a field named &#039password&#039 in MS Access that I need to know? The field is identically set up to several other text fields of differnt names that update properly using the same SQL format (if i changed password to username, it works)<BR><BR>Thanks,<BR>John

Default RE: Access 'password' field will not UPDAT

I&#039ve never heard anything about a &#039password&#039 field, but, if it just won&#039t let you, just use &#039upassword&#039 or &#039userpw&#039 or something of that sort...
