    Hi,<BR><BR>Thanks for previous help... Another question: can I and if yes, how do i do "instr" in SQL queries? I want to exclude all records that consist of numbers and dashes.<BR><BR>Regards<BR>Alex

    You just use regular expressions in your like clause:<BR><BR>Select * from tbl where txtFld not like "%[0-9-]%"
