    Default Active Server Pages Q & A

I am a Win 98 user and was just recently turned on to ASP. As I was going through the msn website tutorial I realized that there is a requirement for this IIS feature which my OS doesn&#039t have. Does this mean I can&#039t even learn ASP until I go out and buy Win2000? <BR><BR>

It&#039s probably asking you to install Personal Web Server. Although much of the docs refer to IIS, you can use PWS on your machine. It&#039ll do just as fine for what you&#039re using it for. Go ahead an d/l it from microsoft&#039s web site.

Default PWS also on Win98 CD

PWS is also included on the Win98 CD. I forget which folder it&#039s under, but it is on there.
