The recordset is opened with keyset membership (fairly high overhead) and optimistic locking (what you generally want to use). You might want to use<BR>rsRest.Open sqlRecords, dataConn, 3, 3<BR>which will give you static membership (using fewer resources). The best choice depends on how many people are trying to update the database simultaneously.<BR><BR>
