Hi all,<BR> I have this query.<BR><BR>SELECT a.order_description, b.status, b.quantity,b.status_date<BR>FROM print_order a, print_order_status b<BR>WHERE a.order_num = b.order_num AND a.order_num = &#039 1&#039<BR><BR>there can be two records in print_order_status which has the same order_num with different status_date.<BR><BR>I want the one with the higher status_date.if I put max(b.status_date) in my query I have to use a group by clause,which I don&#039t need. so, how do I do this??<BR><BR>thanks.
