is there a way to login a user in windows NT, so I can use the existing permission system through ASP to move and delete files?

    In the Internet Services Manager right-click on your application start page go to properties, select the File Security tab, press the edit button for anonymous access and authentication, choose basic authentication and select a domain. Uncheck anonymous access and press ok. When a use tries to access the page they will be prompted for a username and password and the web server will authenticate with the domain controller. Henceforth the user will have an associated login:

username = Request.ServerVariables("AUTH_USER")
password = Request.ServerVariables("AUTH_PASSWORD")

Yo u can create asp file system objects to manipulate files. If cleartext authentication makes you nervous then check out the integrated windows security, ip address restricion settings.
