Default Physical placement of submit button for forms

    Can I somehow divorce where the submit button goes on the form but still have it tied to a particular form?

I&#039m doing my whole www.SoilsOnline.com ordering web site in custom ASP. I want a back and next submit button on the page redirecting to different pages. Problem is each submit button needs to be associated with a form which is required to be in a rectangular area with the inputs on the form. This limits the look. I would like to be able to put the submit anywhere on the page not constricting it to the rectangular block containing my input data. Is this possible?

    How about using generic buttons and submit the proper form with a JavaScript onClick event?

e.g.

<input type="button" onClick="JavaScript:document.form1.submit()">
< BR>
Oliver
oliver@3waystreet.com
