Default Proper Password protect of my site?

Ok so I&#039ve been work on a site for a few weeks now and so far I&#039ve been using the session varible and include file route which works fine, but is it secure enough? The plan is to start charging for access in a few months time and I want to be happy with the security, it there a more secure way or is my current method fine?

Pete

DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU MEAN BY SECURE.
IF YOUR DOING E-COMMERCE AND ASKING FOR CREDIT CARD NUMBER YOU
NEED A SECURE SERVER - SSL - IF YOU ARE JUST VERIFING THE USER TIME ON YOUR SITE WHAT YOUR DOING WILL WORK FINE- DO A TIME VARIABLE AND HAVE THE TIME SPENT ON LINE SAVED TO A DBASE

We&#039ve written a game for a gaming company and they are wanting to charge a monthly fee for user to have access.

I understand that we&#039ll be needing a SSL for taking the credit card numbers etc. but do we also need that to run the game through? Can&#039t some sort of system like I&#039m using work? What about AuthFlicks? Any good?

Pete
