I have just been given a new sever to run SQL Server on, as it was causing us problems running SQL in the IIS server.
However im having a problem getting it to work.

The problem is that the new SQL Sever will not pick up the anonymous username from IIS.

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user &#039&#039.

If I add a NT Password protection on the page which requests a username and password the SQL Sever then validates the user and runs the query. However it is not working with Anonymous. I have added the Anonymous user account to SQL Server, however as you can see by the error, it doesn&#039t seem to be sending a username at all, even though the IIS uses an account as a default if the user is anonymous.
They are both on the domain so should use the same passwords.

Has anyone had problems when setting up a seperate SQL Server From the Web server?
