Default Waiting 3 days to send email

I need to create an email system that when the users fill out a particular form that it will wait 3 days before sending the email as a notice. Is there a way to tell the SMTP service to wait 3 days before sending? or will i have to do a database thing and check every hour to see if there are any messages to send?(i think this method would require too much processing). We do have exchange but the web applications are using the default smtp service that came with the IIS. Is there a component to do this sorta thing?<BR><BR>Matt

depends on your SMTP software - contact the sysadmin for that one. else, use task scheduler to run a scripting host script every few hours which checks for pending messages. it wouldn&#039t take much more processing power than an ASP page really, providing you wrote it well ;-)<BR><BR>jason
