    Hi,<BR>First file:<BR>if strSQL.EOF and strSQL.BOF then<BR> response.clear<BR> response.redirect "logon.asp?buffer=false&Active=No"<BR>...<BR>secon d file:<BR>if response.buffer=false and Active=No then<BR> response.write "There is an error"<BR>end if<BR>...<BR>I want to display different error messages to different parameters I am sending in the buffer <BR>title, is it possible? I received no response to these lines of code.

    Default RE: response.buffer

    Response.Buffer is the property of the response that indicates whether it is to be buffered in memory or flushed directly to the client. What you want is Response.QueryString("buffer") and Response.QueryString("active").<BR><BR>Dunc
