    Default Yikes! Recordset is read

    but not viewable from a MS SQL 7.0 db. it is reading it because when i test for a null value, it works; yet, when i response.write it, it doesn&#039t. all other recordsets in application working.<BR><BR>it is a ntext value with some very, very long data &#060;long text&#062;<BR><BR>what can i do to alleviate this problem? has anybody heard about this?

    Well, depending on how long "very, very long" is...<BR><BR>There is an upper limit to the size of a data string you can retrieve using rs.field.value - I think it&#039s about 8Kb, but it&#039s definetely less than the maximum size of a ntext value.
